Shipping policy

Every jar is hand-whipped in small batches. Standard orders leave our studio within 5–7 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Pre-orders follow the estimated ship date displayed at checkout; those dates already include curing and quality-control time, and we do not accelerate them.

We do not offer rush production. Quality controls—texture, safety, shelf life—cannot be compressed.

After processing, parcels travel via USPS Ground Advantage (two to five business days) or UPS Ground (one to four business days) within the United States. You will receive a tracking email as soon as the carrier scans your label. Domestic shipping is a flat $6.95 on orders under $75 and free on orders of $75 or more. International rates are calculated at checkout, and the customer is responsible for any duties, VAT, or customs delays.

Please verify your address carefully. Packages returned as undeliverable will require a new shipping charge before we resend them. If tracking shows “Delivered” and the parcel is missing, notify us within three days; carrier investigations filed after that window are rarely successful.

Natural butters soften above 90 °F. During summer months we add an eco-friendly cold pack to U.S. orders shipping to hotter regions. A melted product can be chilled and used safely; its performance is unchanged.

Chargebacks filed before completing our claims process will result in a permanent block of the submitting IP address. We are always available at support@butteredchic.com to resolve any delivery issue promptly.
